Trailer for Best Anime Movies and Best Anime TV Series of all times

By AnimeGirl.io

AnimeGirl.io is the ultimate website for anime Lovers made by the Anime Girl

Who is Amy the Anime Girl and what’s this website about?

If you don’t know who I am yet, I’m Amy the Anime Girl and it’s a pleasure to meet you! If the name of my website doesn’t make it obvious enough, my name is Amy and I absolutely love anime and manga. I was introduced to my first anime – Sailor Moon – through a friend, and since then I’ve watched anime and read manga from so many different genres. Science fiction, fantasy, historical dramas, comedies, romance – you name it, I watch it – though I must admit that personally, my best anime tv show of all time is: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Hagane no renkinjutsushi) and the best anime movie of all time: Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi).

This website is going to be all about anime and different aspects of the industry, from reviews of television series and movies to articles on release dates, theories, and expectations. You can also visit the Amy the Anime Girl website to read up on upcoming conventions, discuss anime drawing techniques, and much more.

First off, if you’re new to the industry, you might be wondering “what is anime?”

Anime, which is just a term taken from the English word ‘animation’, originally referred to animation produced in Japan. Today, it extends to other countries as well, and instead, the term broadly describes that particular animation style that other countries have adopted on a much smaller scale. Take, for example, “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, which is an anime produced in America but obviously has anime influence. Sometimes, anime created anywhere other than Japan is referred to as ‘anime-influenced animation’.

The particular animation style can be hand-drawn or computer animation and has a distinct style you can recognize in the features of the characters, background, etc. Another aspect that made anime different from western cartoons is the theme of the cartoon; while traditional cartoons tend to cater toward a younger audience, anime touches on some very adult themes like sexuality, violence, pain, suffering, and death.

Anime dates back as far as 1917 and is now a multi-billion dollar industry with multiple genres that target audiences all over the world and with varying interests.

Why is this anime website the best anime site? Why did I create this website?

My site is the best anime website you’ll come across and that’s not because I’m partial to it since it is mine. This is the ultimate website for anime lovers because everything you’ll read, watch, or come across has been handpicked by a self-proclaimed otaku. If you’re not aware of the term, otaku is a Japanese word that refers to someone who is consumed by all things manga and anime.

I’ve always thought that anime has a bad reputation by those who believe the TV shows and movies are unrealistic or childish just because it is an animation. What these people fail to understand is that anime has so much heart and can be so real – sometimes even more so than live-action TV shows and movies. Anime tells stories about real life, teaches us lessons, and creates an emotional connection between the viewer and the character on screen. Just watching one movie or a couple of episodes can show people who are new to anime all the great qualities it has like the well-developed characters, powerful themes, cohesive plots, stunning visuals, and the range of realistic topics anime covers. And because I believe that my website could do that, I know that it is the best website for anime available today. Anime can be impactful and profound and my website is going to show that to new anime lovers.

Now, for all of you long-time anime viewers – the ones that started watching Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon during their after school or Saturday morning cartoon rampage – you might be wondering why my anime website is the best for you. And this, ladies and gentlemen, will be the case because my website has everything you need to stay up to date in the anime industry. You can read articles on rankings and reviews, find new shows to watch based on ones you already like, be alert on newer anime streaming platforms, download anime wallpapers and anime PFPs you can’t find anywhere else, and meet other anime lovers like you from all over the world and connect with them.

How do I pick all the best anime movies and TV shows of all the time?

A lot of how I pick the best anime movies and best anime TV shows of all time is based on my personal opinion after watching it myself. I also take into account how the movie or TV show does globally and what kind of viewer base it has – just because I lean more toward magic anime, doesn’t mean that the romance anime that was recently released and doing well shouldn’t be included in the list.

What type of anime will you find on the site?

You’re going to find a variety of anime on my website. We have categories for everything starting with ‘best anime TV series’ and ‘best anime movies’ to ‘best anime ONA’ and ‘best anime OVA’. You’ll find lists and reviews on the ‘best anime of all time’ as well as more detailed topics such as the ‘best romance anime’ or the ‘best horror anime’.

The following genres are the broad categories that anime can fit in. These are the typical genres that are used to categorize television series and movies. Anime in these categories are a constant presence in the industry. Some anime can be a hybrid of different types of narratives but they can usually be easily labeled with one or two of the following categories.

The anime I mention on my site will cover numerous genres and subgenres. Many of these are self-explanatory but I’ll include descriptions for some that might not be.

Anime subgenres are much more extensive so that it reaches viewers with varying interests. Many of these are self-explanatory but I’ll include descriptions for some that might not be.

What do ONA and OVA mean?

ONA is an acronym for “original net animation” and is better known in Japan as “Web Anime” or “Webu Anime”. The term refers to anime that were created with the intention of directly releasing them onto the internet. It can also refer to animes that were released on the web originally but were then later aired on television.

OVA is an acronym for “original video animation” and is sometimes also abbreviated as OAV (original animation video). OVA formats are created and then distributed solely for home viewing; at one point this was through VHS but later became DVD formats. The only way to watch OVAs originally was if you physically had a copy of it. There were never any prior showings in the theater or on television – though sometimes, they do broadcast a part of it just to gather viewer intrigue.

How can I get the best anime wallpapers?

Over the years, I’ve managed to collect hundreds, if not thousands, of different anime backgrounds. Many of them are anime girl wallpapers or anime boy wallpapers but you’ll find wallpapers made from different scenes from anime TV shows and movies too. You can download anime wallpapers for free using my website whenever you want. The anime home screens look great on desktops and laptops but I also use them as background for my smartphone too. I hope you enjoy my growing collection of HD anime images to use as a background or home screen for your smartphone or computer. Keep coming back and checking for more because I upload new anime wallpapers on a regular basis.

Do you write an anime blog? What can I find on your anime blog?

I do have an anime girl blog, which I consider to be my little space in the great and expansive world wide web, where I can share my thoughts and opinions on Japanese art, anime, and much more. On my blog, you will find reviews of anime movies and TV shows that I’ve finished, commentaries on currently airing episodes and shows, my expectations on things to come, and lists of my faves, among other things. You’ll find blog posts on the best anime characters themselves, going into detail on their personalities and appearances. I’ll also have how-to guides on cartoon creation like blogs on how to draw your own anime characters and educational articles like understanding the creation process in Japanese culture. Life gets a little busy but I will also try writing breaking news blog posts on Otaku conventions and newly-released anime-inspired products and tech.

My blog will cover all the latest information about Japanese anime from latest news and suggestions on what to watch next to artistic technique and technology in the anime niche – you can even suggest things you’d like discussed in the comments and I’ll try to write about them. Check out my blog when you need to find and watch the best animation or if you need help creating your very own anime!

What FAQ will my anime reviews answer?

I’m going to try and make my anime reviews as detailed and to the point as possible. You’ll see a lot of different facts and questions addressed and answered. These include:

  • Initial thoughts and reactions
  • Opinion on episodes – length, time, release date
  • Character breakdown and opinions on their skills and qualities
  • Storyline breakdown and opinions on how good/ bad it is
  • Similar animes to compare styles when deciding whether to watch or not
  • Conclusive rating out of 10 based on all the factors mentioned above

Who can use this anime website?
